This was the time of mosquitoes! We decided to visit Eagles Way early on the first full day we were back in the watershed. It was a short and painful trip, being run out of the woods in order to retain our sanity. After that we carefully chose our spots.

The long days of solstice light provided a lot of time to be out in the field, to our great delight.
